1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Lyric Library ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
Lyric Library is a SaaS application that allows users to store, organize, and manage their song lyrics. The Service provides features including but not limited to lyric storage, organization, sharing, AI-powered analysis tools, and end-to-end encryption for vault songs.
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and complete information when creating your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. User Content
You retain all ownership rights to the lyrics and content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your User Content to provide the Service, backup and secure your User Content, and display your User Content as necessary to provide the Service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to upload and share such content. We do not claim ownership of your User Content.
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload, post, or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or infringing
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your personal information. We are committed to complying with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
7. Subscription and Payment
The Service may offer both free and paid subscription tiers. If you subscribe to a paid plan:
- You agree to pay the fees specified for your selected plan
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Refunds are subject to our refund policy and your rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015
- We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice
- All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and include applicable VAT
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Lyric Library and protected by United Kingdom and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written consent.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination:
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the Service.
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
- We may delete your account and User Content, subject to our data retention policies
- You remain responsible for any outstanding fees
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
This disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including but not limited to the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LYRIC LIBRARY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (iii) any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable UK law.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
